Let me tell you about this beautiful couple and their Punta Cana wedding! First of all, Adela & Ciprian were so young when they first met, just two kids, young and free. Growing up in Cleveland they had the same group of friends, went to the same middle school; high school, and part of the university. Over their teenage years they became really good friends and even started dating, Ciprian always knew he wanted to marry Adela while a Punta Cana wedding wasn’t even a dream.

Since they were too young and needed to prepare themselves for their great future,  as a result, life separated them. It is true when people say that the timing has to be right! In 2011 Adela went to live in Chicago and started a new journey in her life, and Ciprian stayed in Cleveland. Many years passed and they completely lost communication. Until the day when Adela came to visit her family and friends back home in Cleveland. And they finally saw each other once again after four years being apart.

Together forever

Since that exact day, Ciprian was absolutely convinced that he wanted to share the rest of his life with her. Ciprian took Adela by the hand and walked her through Memory Lane – which contained memories and pictures capturing the sweet memories they’d shared over the past fourteen years of our friendship. There at the end of their Memory Lane, they shared a kiss and instantly knew it was going to be forever.

Together they dealt with the loss of their loving mothers who they believe brought them back together. Our mothers would be very happy and proud right now to see their kids living their happily-ever-after love story”, they say.   We truly are soulmates… Our love is unconditional and there are no words to describe how much we adore each other. We were always meant to be, and this is just the beginning of our story…

As a result of love today, Adela & Ciprian are happy and waiting for their first baby girl. And this child is going to be a very good-looking little person, considering how beautiful her parents are.

Ciprian & Adela, we wish you happiness and a life full of love and prosperity!

Destination PUNTA CANA JELLYFISH WEDDING, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Jellyfish wedding is something truly special! When I asked Shane, what would be the word that describes them as a couple, they answered immediately without a second thought that the word that describes them was “Lucky”.   And I am sure that this is definitely the proper word to describe this couple!  Shane & Chelsea found each other on November 10, 2014, at Match.com. After this, they went for a date at Toby Keith’s, one of Chelsea’s favorite bars in Rosemont just a few days later. And this wonderful date ended up lasting until 4 AM, closing the bar. The best first date of Chelsea’s life finished with a kiss and another date set-up for the upcoming Friday.  They have been together ever since and have never gone a day without talking.

Shane and Chelsea are both teachers who love what they do, even in the very hard trying times. They build each other up and support each other in all activities they do. They are a very active couple. Shane and Chelsea love to be outside, at the lake, at Cubs games, riding bikes, and traveling as much as they can. And they plan to continue doing this for the rest of their lives… how crazy!

Jellyfish Restaurant helped their dream come true

Bride and groom loved the idea that we were taking a vacation with the most important people in their lives, being all together and getting married!  Shane and Chelsea’s beautiful tropical themed destination wedding at Jelly Fish Restaurant in Punta Cana was exactly all they wished for and more… A real party since beginning till end!  Lots of laughing, love, and celebrating. See it for yourself and enjoy!

Destination beach wedding at Barcelo Occidental Caribe, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic – Erik & Crystal

This beautiful destination beach wedding of Erik and Crystal was laid-back and easy going. Before the wedding, she was so excited to see Erik’s reaction when he sees his bride walk down the aisle, and he looked so nervous when he saw her in her dress! This wedding was all about love and spending time with family and friends. Oh yes, the party!!!

A little bit about Erik & Crystal and how they met:

Josh was moving into his first house. Crystal & Erik were helping Josh move in and helping renovate the house. We realized we had a connection and loved being around each other. Erik then asked Josh if he could date Crystal. Big brother/best friend wasn’t too happy with the situation but he knew Erik was a great guy and wouldn’t hurt his baby sister. That was 4 years ago and we are still happily together and continuing our wonderful journey in life together.

How did Erik propose:

Crystal planned a surprise 30th Birthday party and invited all of our friends and family. Erik believing we were just going to dinner with a couple of family members was completely shocked when he walked into a room of 60+ of all of our closest family and friends. After that, he then countered at the party presenting a video to Crystal of a video of “The Reasons I love you”. And then Erik got down on one knee and asked for Crystal’s hand in marriage. 🙂

Catholic Destination Wedding in Nuestra Señora de Punta Cana & Jelly Fish, Dominican Republic – Alex & Daphne

Enjoy the wedding film from this beautiful Catholic destination wedding in Nuestra Señora de Punta Cana church! The reception took place in Jelly Fish and as we all know this place always makes brides happy!

From the bride before their catholic destination wedding:

“Not sure why, but I like the Spanish version better. Here it is:

Daphne”

Dreams La Romana Wedding – Marlon & Cathy from New York

Dreams La Romana wedding was something very special for Marlon and Cathy… They met 15 years ago while she was completing her undergraduate studies at Hunter College. During that time he worked in the Biology Department of Hunter College – in fact, he was her biology lab instructor for one semester. They became friends during her years at Hunter and at one point they even dated for a few months. No, love was not in the air back then 🙂

Over the years they remained in touch and would always meet up for trips to New York’s Metropolitan Museum or the Guggenheim Museum followed by brunch at a typical NYC diner. During these little adventures they would catch up on life family, work, their love lives. Cathy and Marlon remained friends all these years, always finding time to meet up and talk. They love the long conversations that occurred on these adventures. Marlon says these are some of his favorite memories of their friendship. During this time in their lives, they were always involved in romantic relationships with someone else, and probably they never even thought about dating each other again. They were always just friends during this time.

This all changed at the end of 2012 -she asked Marlon out after finding out he was single. And he didn’t know it at the time but she was single for over a year at this time. So they began dating, for the second time in their lives. This felt different, it was real – four years later it feels like their relationship has no beginning and no end – it feels like they have always been there living the life together.

Puerto Plata Blue Jacktar Wedding

Nico & Lauren have such a beautiful story in which love triumphs over social, language, economic, geographical and racial barriers. They chose to have their wedding near where they met, in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic (DR). Lauren used to live in NYC and work for the United Nations, and her work obligations took her to the DR for a few months. There she met Nico, whose family had migrated from Haiti, and who was working for the local organization subject of Lauren’s field research. After some long distance uncertainty, love called them back together. Lauren and Nico have now happily settled in Washington, DC, where Lauren continues doing international development work and Nico teaches soccer. Enjoy watching their beautiful wedding film!

Daniel & Jessica – Wedding at Sanctuary Cap Cana, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

The perfect destination wedding

Ready to learn more about this Sanctuary Cap Cana wedding? “Daniel,  When you first told me you wanted us to write our own vows, panic took over. Not because I didn’t know what to say. But because I couldn’t imagine putting into words how you make me feel, and how happy I am today that this moment is finally here.”

This is just half of the first part of Jessica’s vows, which gives an idea of Jessica and Daniel’s relationship.  These two have been dating for around 6 years when Daniel proposed at sunset in St. Pete, Florida in presence of their closest friends and family, and it turned out to be an incredible surprise!   Jessica is originally from Sosua, the Dominican Republic which is where her parents met and lived for many happy years. So she had always envisioned getting married in the Dominican Republic.  After visiting the gorgeous Sanctuary Cap Cana resort the deal was closed we had no doubts this was perfect,  Jessica says.

And so Jessica and Daniel got married as she always dreamed, looking mind-blowing on a rainy day of June on the private island of Sanctuary Cap Cana Resort in the Dominican Republic.

Dreams come true – Punta Cana Wedding

Dreaming of a perfect spot for your destination Punta Cana wedding? This is the perfect place! Imagine white sandy beaches, fall in love with tropical forests and explore the epic old-world city that makes a stunning backdrop for your wedding. You can see all of this and more in this gorgeous blush and gold wedding day at Punta Cana’s Huracan Cafe!

A couple of words from Valentina about her destination wedding:

I always wanted to have a destination Punta Cana wedding with my closest family and friends. I and my husband were considering so many different options such as renting a villa or having a wedding on the island or a boat. Then I came across Niko’s videos and instantly I knew I had to reach out to them. And it was the best decision because they guided us during the whole planning process and helped us put the most amazing team, including Huracan venue team. This is how I found Huracan and it was definitely a love at first sight. Huracan is a magical venue by the beach, so unique and romantic… ideal for making new memories!

Our ceremony was on the beach at sunset and it was nothing short of magical. Walking down the aisle with my dad by my side and looking at my soon to be husband, this was once in a lifetime experience. It is way better than in any romantic movie, it feels like time paused for you. It was just perfect!

When I was planning our wedding, I saw a lot of past brides mentioning how quickly the day goes by. After having our wedding, I now know what they all meant. It was by far the shortest day in my life! Enjoy every second of your wedding and don’t let anything ruin it for you!
